The Immunization Program works to reduce vaccine-preventable disease in Teton County by supporting and promoting immunization services through collaboration, education, and resources.

The Vaccine for Children (VFC) program is a federally funded vaccine program. VFC-eligible children are those who are 18 years of age and younger and are at least one of the following:

  • Eligible for Medicaid
  • Uninsured (no insurance)
  • American Indian or Alaska Native
  • Underinsured (at a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), Rural Health Clinic (RHC), or any other provider with delegated authority)

Vaccine for Uninsured Adults (VUA) is a federally-funded adult vaccine program that was established in 2012. The VUA Program is currently available at Teton County Public Health. Vaccines provided through the VUA Program can only be administered to Wyoming residents, 19 and older, who are uninsured or underinsured. *Underinsured refers to patients who have health insurance, including Medicaid or Medicare that does NOT cover the vaccines needed, or the cap for vaccines has been met.

Travel Vaccines

Teton County Public Health does not offer travel immunizations such as typhoid, yellow fever, and japanese encephalitis. We do not offer prescriptions for malaria medications. 


Walk-in Flu Clinic

Our walk-in flu clinic for 2017 has ended. Flu shots are still available at Teton County Public Health, but by appointment only. Please call 307-733-6401 to schedule an appointment. To find flu vaccines at other retail outlets, visit the vaccine finder website
