Housing Authority Board (HAB) Regular Meeting

The role of the Housing Board of Directors (HAB) is to counsel the Housing Staff on management of Housing Authority owned properties, approve or deny Critical Services Provider applications, and to hear appeals of decisions made by the Housing Manager. The Board will also make recommendations to the elected officials concerning policies of the Housing Department.
What is the "Housing Authority"?
The Jackson/Teton County Housing Authority (JTCHA) is a seperate entity from the Affordable Housing Department. It is a regional Housing Authority under the Town of Jackson and Teton County. It exists to purchase and own properties. It can also carry debt, which is limited for Town and County governments.
