As of February 16, 2021, Teton County/ Jackson Parks and Recreation (TCJPR), will be continuing its swim hours but has added additional programming opportunities. Below please see our schedule. 

Monday-Friday Adult Lap Swim Open Swim 6:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. and Reservation Lap Swim 12:30 p.m.-1:30 p.m.; 1:45 p.m.-2:45 p.m.

Saturday & Sunday: Adult Lap Swim Reservation Lap Swim 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Family Swim Reservation only 1:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. & 3:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. 

To make sure you reserve your reservation lap swim or family swim slot sign up online at tetonparksandrec.org. 

The Parks crew has been hard at work grooming local trails and maintaining local ice rinks. Please take the time to go ice skating at the fairgrounds, Owen Bircher Park and Powderhorn Park. Nordic ski grooming information can be found on the Teton County/Jackson Parks and Recreation website. Throughout the winter months there will be a Wednesday update about winter service levels.  The public is encouraged to visit the JH Nordic alliance map to see all Teton County trail and pathways at https://jhnordic.com/static/static/jh_winter_trails_and_pathways_map.pdf

The Programming division has been developing new offerings both online and in-person.   They are excited to announce a partnership with the library, Storywalks. This is a chance to enjoy a walk on the Russ Garaman Pathway and read The Snowy Day with your family. The book will be on the trail from February 26 - March 1. If you have a toddler in your family, TCJPR will host Start Smart for 3 to 5-year-olds starting February 20. 

In lieu of the traditional Father/Daughter Dance, this year TCJPR will offer a Daddy/Daughter Date Night Box. For $35 a box, you will have ingredients for dinner and a fun treasure hunt to do together. Boxes will be ready for pick up on Friday, February 19 from 3:30 - 5:30pm.  Due to limited boxes pre-registration is required.

Adult Reservation Volleyball (14+) will begin Sunday, February 21 in the Rec Center Gymnasium. This will take place Sunday’s from 2:45 – 4:45 p.m. Space is limited so participants are encouraged to pre-register at tetonparksandrec.org. Registration for the event is $5 and will open Fridays at 8:00 a.m. for the upcoming Sunday session.
