Due to upgrades to the electrical system and baler at the Recycling Center ISWR will be temporarily suspending recycling services in Teton County from Thursday April 22nd throughMonday April 26th. All recycling sites will either be closed, bins removed, or remain unemptied until Tuesday, April 27th. The Recycling Center requests that the public and businesses hold their recycling until staff are able to service the community recycling sites on Tuesday, April 27th. All sites, including the Rec Center, the Rodeo Grounds, Albertsons, Teton Village, Spring Gulch, the Aspens, Hoback, and the Recycling Center will have bins removed or be unserviced during this time. This closure includes specialty recycling like batteries, shredding, paperback and hardback books, textiles, small scrap metal, and electronics found at the Recycling Center.
Commercial cardboard service will remain unaffected. Cardboard collected on Friday April 23 and Monday April 27 will be delivered to the Transfer Station for storage in trucks until the Recycling Center upgrades are complete. ISWR appreciates WestBank Sanitation and Yellow Iron’s flexibility and accommodations to ensure this collected cardboard is recycled. Please note, this is for commercial cardboard service customers only, no personal cardboard drop off is permitted at the Trash Transfer Station. Personal cardboard should be held until the Recycling Center and community sites reopen on April 27th.
We apologize for this inconvenience and appreciate the community’s willingness to hold recycling until we reopen. Thank you for your understanding. Please contact Teton County ISWR with any questions 307-733-7678.
