The Teton County Fair is now accepting entries for Open Class Exhibits for display at this year’s Fair, from July 25th to the 29th. Both Youth and Adult divisions are available.
Entries can highlight hobbies such as gardening, baking, quilting, photography, building, and more. New this year, Youth divisions are being offered, including pet rock, fairy garden, lego creations, and more. This is a great opportunity to showcase your proudest homemade and handmade items!
Exhibits will be judged by regional experts, and “Grand Champion” exhibits will be awarded in each division. Additionally, a “Best in Show” will be awarded in each department.
“We’re really excited to be offering a wide array of opportunities for people to get involved at the Fair this year,” said Rachel Grimes, Teton County Fair and Fairgrounds Manager. “This is a wonderful chance for our community to come together and celebrate our Western Heritage with great events, live music, unique exhibits, and a lot more.”
The deadline for Exhibit Hall Open Class entries is 4:00pm on Friday, July 20, 2018, at the Teton County Fair office (305 Snow King Ave.). Entries are also being accepted for the Open Class Horse Show, including English and Western performance events, Teton Barrel Racing Association’s Turn N’ Burn, and the Sydney Lee Judge Memorial Fun Night. Pre-entries are due today by 4pm.
In addition, night event entries are currently being accepted for Pig Wrestling, the Ninja Warrior Challenge, and the Figure 8 Races. Pig Wrestling and Ninja entries are due by July 9th at 4pm and Figure 8 entries are due by July 16th at 4pm.
