Teton County Historic Preservation Board Seeks Consultant

The Teton County Historic Preservation Board (TCHPB) has released a Request for Proposals (RFP) for an administrative consultant to help organize and support the work of the Board.

The estimated time commitment for the consultant is 10 to 20 hours per week and a salary range, based on experience, between $26.000 to $31,200 for a one-year period. A minimum of a bachelor’s degree from a Historic Preservation program, architecture or urban planning or related studies is required, along with relevant interest and experience working with the standards of historic properties, architecture, urban planning, history and historic preservation. Also required is a minimum of two-year’s experience in preservation and/or architectural history-based setting.

The deadline to submit a proposal is Friday, February 28, 2020.

The Historic Preservation Board’s mission is to identify, protect, and preserve Teton County’s architectural and archaeological heritage to ensure respectful planning and development that preserves our sense of place and community character. The TCHPB envisions a community where vita; historic properties exist in concert with new development

The Board, appointed by the Teton County Board of County Commissioners, is a Certified Local Government (CLG) and convenes monthly public meetings to review current and future opportunities for historic preservation in Teton County.
