UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE and DURING THE ORANGE PHASE OF THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC (last updated 6/1/20)
The Clerk of District Court Anne Sutton and District Court Judge Timothy C. Day are encouraging continued use of fax/e-mail filing for time sensitive Teton County District Court case filings whenever possible. Pleadings that are not time sensitive can continue to be submitted by mail.
Fax/email filing fees are waived until further notice but will resume no later than August 1st.
You must call the Clerk’s Office at 733-2533 to request to fax or email file in every instance.
Until further notice, only limited original pleadings need to follow in the mail. The clerk will provide details when you call. Requirements for originals to follow in all instances will resume no later than August 1st.

RECORDS SEARCHES AND ONSITE RECORDS REVIEW:
Case record searches / background searches can be requested over fax or email for $10 per name searched.
On-site records research is currently available and by appointment only. You may make an appointment online CLICK HERE or by calling.
FILING, CHILD SUPPORT AND CRIMINAL CASE PAYMENTS:
If you are attempting to make child support or criminal case payments or submit new / re-open case filing fees, appeal fees, copy charges directly owed to Clerk of District Court, we request alternatives to cash payments whenever possible.
· For civil case payments, we have an online credit card payment link we can send for filing fees, jury demands, abatement fees, etc.
· For child support, we can review online and mail in payment options.
· For criminal case payments, money orders and certified funds are preferred methods of payments whenever possible.

Passport application appointments are required and can be made online by CLICKING HERE or calling us at 733-2533. The U.S. Department of State reports significant delays of several months for passport processing. CLICK HERE for current information.
Our next jury trial is currently not scheduled until August at the earliest.
