What does COVID-19 mean for the Environmental Health division?

  1. We are offering many of our services contact-free, but you also have the option of coming inside and visiting our office. If you do choose to come in, please wear a face covering.
  2. EPA-required water samples and private drinking water samples will be tested Mondays and Tuesdays. Please leave your sample in the provided cooler by the front door of the Health Department building or come inside and proceed downstairs to the Environmental Health offices. Water samples are due by 2pm.
  3. Pool and spa bacteriological samples are tested Tuesdays and due to the cooler or the refrigerator in our office by 12pm.
  4. Fill out and attach a requisition sheet to all water sample bottles.
  5. Attach payment to the water sample bottle(s) unless you already have an account set up for billing.
  6. Radon test kits are available to purchase. Call or come inside and proceed downstairs to the Environmental Health offices.
  7. Call or stop in if you require a temporary food service license.
