Explore the recreational Snake River map:
The map is intended to be used on a smartphone, using the GPS on your phone to provide your location along the river. For the best experience download one of the apps.

This map is for recreational purposes to show Snake River information, including:

  • your location
  • access points
  • public lands
  • river hazards
  • points of access
  • river flow data
  • weather forecasts
  • recreational easement info
  • regulations pertinent to waterways you’ll float

IF YOU DON’T KNOW, DON’T ROW!
All stretches of the Snake River are demanding and require competent navigation skills. Always wear a properly fitted floatation device.

Background Information
This project was a partnership between Teton County, Snake River Fund, Community Foundation of Jackson Hole, and OnWater. This project was identified in the Teton County's Snake River Management Plan as an action item, specifically addressing, “boaters and landowners continue to need better information about the locations of private and public land in the corridor.”
