All pools and spas in Wyoming are required to have a Certified Pool Operator (CPO) to oversee the operation of their licensed facility. Any pool that allows a portion of the public to use the pool must obtain a license after the construction of the pool is approved through the plan review process. Recreational water facilities are required to test their water reach calendar month that they are open.
The purpose of swimming pool regulations is to reduce the potential for transmitting communicable diseases associated with aquatic facilities.
