The Housing Department has transitioned to a new online account and application platform. If you have created and completed your application before December 10th, and you meet the income and asset qualifications for the specific unit currently available, you will receive an email from us inviting you to enter the drawing for this unit. If you have not received an invitation email, you may not enter this drawing.  

Step 1: If you have received an invitation email, click the link in the email to enter the drawing.

Step 2: Upload the following documents to your Interest Application before the deadline (December 23, 2025)

  • Lender Qualification Worksheet (must be completed by a Local Lender; the Lender's Qualification is valid for one year; the loan amount on your Lender's Qualification worksheet must be at least the purchase price minus your down payment for the home for which you are applying) 

You may receive one additional entry into the drawing for every year of verified full-time employment (minimum of 1,560 hours) in Teton County, with a maximum of 10 years/entries.

Critical Service Provider Verification: if you are a Qualified Critical Service Provider.

To be eligible to be invited to enter this drawing, your household's gross income (before taxes) must fit into the range listed below, and your household's net assets must not exceed the asset limit listed below.

Four Person Household         $113,200 to $169,800

Five Person Household          $122,256 to $183,384

Six Person Household            $131,312 to $196,968

Calculation of Income

Household income is calculated based on the current income earned by all intended adult occupants of the Restricted Housing Unit at the time of weighted drawing entry, using the current household income to estimate an annual (12-month) income basis.

Once selected in a Weighted Drawing:

The complete application paperwork is not required at the time of drawing entry; however, it will be required when you are selected for a home.  Please keep in mind you will only have 5 business days from the date of notification to provide it.  For anyone who may need more time and would like to complete the required paperwork for here is a list for your convenience:

Most recent 2 years' complete tax returns and W-2s.

3 months of the most recent account statements for all checking, savings, CD, IRA, and retirement accounts.

Full credit report/scores for all adult applicants dated within the last year.

Proof of citizenship - passport, birth certificate, or green card.  For DACA recipients, USCIS DACA Approval Notice (Form 1-797).

Completed Home Buyer Education Class Certificate.  The Home Buyer Education Certificate is good indefinitely. Homebuyer Education Link

Divorce Decree - if applicable

Birth Certificate for any child under 1 - if applicable
